Moinuddin Syed, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist at the Heart & Vascular Institute at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. Dr. Syed completed his medical degree at Deccan College of Medical Science in Telangana, India and his residency in internal medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. He has completed fellowships in Cardiology at West Virginia University, Interventional Cardiology at Boston University and Vascular Diagnostic and Intervention at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease, American Board of Internal Medicine, National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Syed is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC).
