Dr. Cambiaghi is a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon at Monument Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree from the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, Italy, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Honors and obtained a Masters degree in Aortic Surgery at the same institution. He then completed his integrated residency in Vascular Surgery at the University of Texas, followed by a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. He has clinical experience across Europe and the United States, with particular focus in complex aortic surgery, endovascular repairs, and minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures. At Monument Health, he performs a wide range of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular operations and contributes to the institute’s advanced structural heart and endovascular programs. Dr. Cambiaghi has published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at international meetings and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple scientific journals. He is also involved in educational initiatives and clinical trials with a focus on innovation in cardiovascular care. Dr. Cambiaghi is especially interested in the treatment of patients affected by aortic dissection and aneurysms, carotid, coronary and peripheral arterial disease and by heart valve pathology. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and exploring nature.
