Stephanie Ann Bennington, D.O., is a boardcertified Psychiatrist at Behavioral Health in Rapid City. Dr. Bennington completed her Psychiatry Residency at Creighton University in Omaha and attained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Prior to that, Dr. Bennington received a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Bennington’s passion is for treating substance use disorder for all ages. She has previously published research on the brain’s behavior during opioid, nicotine, cocaine and alcohol addiction. In her spare time, Dr. Bennington is an advocate for foster care children and youth. She is an avid gardener. Dr. Bennington also enjoys road trips to explore National Parks with her family.
