Description
Dr. James Kuzman is a Hematologist and Oncologist at Monument Health Cancer Care Institute. Dr. Kuzman received his medical degree and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City, IA and his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Kuzman chose to specialize in Hematology and Oncology because he believes that the relationship between an Oncologist and patient is an important part of the patient’s life. Dr. Kuzman believes that the most rewarding part of his job is getting to know patients and helping them through a difficult time. He also appreciates the science and research involved in medicine. In his free time Dr. Kuzman enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, and spending time with his family and Golden Retriever.
